Duration: 12 Months (High possibility of extension or conversion)
We are seeking a Wireless Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end development of next-generation wireless modules and subsystems for cutting-edge consumer devices. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and wireless technologies, driving programs through the New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle.
You will partner with cross-functional engineering teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution, risk mitigation, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program execution for wireless hardware initiatives (WiFi, Bluetooth, cellular, etc.)
- Drive programs through NPI phases including concept, design, development, validation, and launch
- Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Partner with engineering teams to define architectures, build plans, and wireless requirements
- Identify risks proactively and drive mitigation strategies and issue resolution
- Track and report program health, engineering issues, and build progress to leadership
- Ensure successful hardware + firmware integration across system components
- Drive cross-functional alignment across hardware, software, and external vendors
- Establish and improve processes and best practices for program execution
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager or Engineering Manager
- Experience managing hardware and/or firmware programs from concept to production
- Strong background in wireless systems (RF, Bluetooth, WiFi, cellular, antenna design, etc.)
- Experience with wireless module qualification, validation, and characterization
- Deep understanding of consumer hardware product development lifecycle (NPI)
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional technical programs
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background working with leading device ecosystems (e.g., smart devices, wearables)
- Knowledge of wireless security protocols and emerging standards
- Experience managing external vendors and partners
