Position TitleINTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER (BUS & PAYLOAD SUB-ASSEMBLIES)
Role OverviewAs an Integration & Test Engineer you will lead the development of manufacturing and test processes for sub‑assemblies used in the Starlink satellite. You will collaborate with production, design engineering, and supply chain teams to deliver flight‑worthy hardware.
Responsibilities- Define and manage assembly flow and test operations of satellite sub‑assembly production area
- Enable day‑to‑day execution of the production area by eliminating blockers, slow‑downs, and waste
- Develop and refine manufacturing assembly procedures based on lessons learned and feedback
- Evaluate non‑conformances to determine root cause and drive corrective actions to implementation
- Scrutinize current and proposed designs for manufacturability, reliability, and repeatability
- Interface with technicians, specialists, and engineers of multiple disciplines to optimize manufacturing and reliability
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
- 1+ years of professional mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing (internships/co‑ops and club projects can apply)
- Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems
- Experience working with composites and integration of avionics systems
- Documentation and configuration management experience
- Experience writing test plans, procedures and providing go/no‑go judgment and rationale
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity
- Some travel to launch sites may be required, up to 10%
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Company shuttles are offered to employees for roundtrip travel from select Seattle locations to the Space
