PLM Expert – Windchill
We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Expert with deep expertise in PTC Windchill to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer electronics manufacturing lifecycle, from lab prototyping to full-scale factory production. This role demands proficiency in Bill of Materials (BOM) management across both electrical and mechanical domains, and a collaborative mindset to work across engineering, manufacturing, and digital transformation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage PLM activities using Windchill, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Oversee BOM creation, validation, and maintenance for electrical and mechanical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline product development from lab to factory.
- Support digital transformation initiatives using Power Platform and Copilot Studio (preferred).
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and compliance with engineering standards.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on PLM best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with PTC Windchill in a PLM expert role.
- Strong knowledge of consumer electronics manufacturing processes.
- Expertise in electrical and mechanical BOM management.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work onsite at the Redmond, WA office at least 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot Studio.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration across engineering, supply chain, and IT.
