Honeywell Aerospace is hiring an analog Electrical Engineer in our Redmond, WA facility. This position will be responsible for the design of new products, as well as support of existing products in our high-performance accelerometer portfolio. Responsibilities will encompass architecture generation through detailed design and verification testing. A successful candidate will have a background in analog electrical engineering and the ability to work closely with mechanical, systems, and manufacturing functions.

Responsibilities
  • Independently design and test analog and digital circuits and systems.
  • Execute project subtasks by following established engineering methodologies for new hardware development.
  • Perform simulations, data analysis, define test procedures, and review results to determine compliance to requirements.
  • Status reporting to senior technical staff and direct management.
  • Assemble and present material for Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews.
  • Drive new product development to schedule and budget.
  • Support factory RCCA activity.

Must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of four years of related engineering experience with analog circuits and systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with lab test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with analog circuitry and precision electronics.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with the design and testing of precision accelerometers.
  • Good understanding of fundamental physics.
  • Experience with performing worst‑case analysis.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Mathcad, Simulink, and SPICE design tools.
  • Experience with Arduino programming and data collection.
  • Ability to make data‑based and timely decisions while balancing risk.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methods.
  • Demonstrated excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of Office Suite programs:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
