A leading manufacturer of wildlife telemetry technology is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team in Redmond, WA!

For more than 40 years, this company has been designing and manufacturing advanced tracking devices that support wildlife research and conservation efforts around the world. In this role, you'll work alongside a collaborative engineering team to develop, test, and improve products used by researchers to better understand and protect marine wildlife.

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and packaging solutions for electronic products and sensors
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation using Solid Works or similar software
• Develop and execute testing and validation plans to evaluate product performance and support design improvements
• Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical engineering, and cross-functional teams to support product development and production
• Prototype, troubleshoot, and improve existing product designs based on testing results, customer feedback, and manufacturing needs

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of mechanical design experience in a product development or manufacturing environment
• Experience using Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software
• Experience with product testing, validation, and design iteration
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM principles, and mechanical engineering fundamentals

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, day shift. Hybrid schedule available (onsite onboarding period required).

Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000/year.
