Harris is seeking an Associate Materials and Process Engineer with a strong background in materials and processes engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the aerospace industry as well as a materials engineering background. This role has both program facing and lab responsibilities. This role will report within the materials engineering group and be based in Redmond, WA.

• Perform lab evaluations of metallurgical specimens leveraging tools such as optical and electron microscopy
• Update and enhance materials specifications and other program requirements
• Interface with the internal manufacturing team to support processing on-site

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Material Science, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

• Exposure to a variety of materials characterization techniques
• Exposure to chemical or industrial environments and appropriate safety practices
• Benchtop chemistry and lab expertise

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Washington is $68,000 - $126,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
