CAD Administrator
This role involves reviewing and cleaning engineering data, resolving CAD/part/BOM discrepancies, and collaborating with engineers to prepare data for migration into a new PLM system. The position supports engineering data quality and PLM readiness by executing CAD data cleanup and alignment activities within CAD and PLM systems.
Responsibilities
- Review and clean engineering data to resolve CAD/part/BOM discrepancies.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure data is ready for PLM migration.
- Execute CAD data cleanup and alignment activities within CAD and PLM systems.
- Work with engineers and CAD/PLM leads to update and validate part and assembly metadata.
- Resolve inconsistencies across CAD files and associated product structures.
- Modify and maintain 2D and 3D models to ensure alignment with standards and accurate linkage to parts and BOMs.
- Support file type standardization and CAD–PLM integration.
Essential Skills
- Practical experience in CAD environments, such as Creo.
- Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably Windchill and CREO.
- Ability to modify 2D and 3D models within CAD systems.
- Experience updating metadata within PLM systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and missing information.
- Ability to work independently following established guidelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a PTC Windchill administrator or power user.
- Experience supporting PLM migrations or data remediation projects.
- Knowledge of configuration management and part numbering.
- Experience in the medical device or other regulated industries.
- Ability to work directly with engineering to resolve ambiguous legacy data.
Work Environment
The work environment is primarily onsite from Monday to Wednesday, with hybrid options available on Thursday and Friday. The position operates on a first shift with start times between 8AM and 9AM and consists of 8-hour workdays.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
