Employment Type:
Full-Time with L&T Technology Services (LTTS).
Audio technicians play a hands-on role in developing spatial audio, AI voice models, and augmented reality (AR/VR) wearables. Daily tasks typically include:
- Lab Maintenance: Setting up and calibrating recording equipment, microphones, and audio/acoustic test setups.
- Data Collection & Processing: Gathering high‑quality multimedia data, conducting audio logic experiments, and using scripts to process datasets.
- Acoustic Testing: Utilizing industry‑standard measurement and test equipment, including working with anechoic chambers and configurable acoustic rooms.
- Collaboration: Working alongside researchers and audio software engineers on prototype hardware and foundational audio models.
- Experience: 3–5+ years working with audio/acoustic testing, psychoacoustics, or hearing products.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for audio test automation and signal processing. - Facilities Knowledge: Familiarity with spatial audio data, ambisonics, and standard audio measurement interfaces.
Education: A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, or a relevant technical discipline.
