Key Responsibilities- Supporting engineering data quality and PLM readiness by executing CAD data cleanup and alignment activities within CAD and PLM systems.
- Working with engineers and CAD/PLM leads to update and validate part and assembly metadata, including attributes, naming conventions, and file structures.
- Resolving inconsistencies across CAD files and associated product structures to ensure data accuracy.
- Modifying and maintaining 2D and 3D models as needed to align with standards and ensure accurate linkage to parts and BOMs.
- Supporting file type standardization and CAD–PLM integration to streamline workflows.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve CAD and PLM system issues.
- Documenting and auditing data correction activities to maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Testing and validating CAD/PLM configurations to optimize system performance and data integrity.
- Hands‑on experience with CAD software, preferably Creo.
- Familiarity with PLM systems, such as Windchill.
- Ability to modify CAD models and update associated metadata.
- Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for identifying inconsistencies.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineering teams and resolve legacy data issues.
- Proven ability to work independently on data cleanup and validation tasks.
- Prior experience as a PTC Windchill administrator or power‑user.
- Support of PLM migration or data remediation projects.
- Knowledge of configuration management and part numbering.
- Experience in the medical device or regulated healthcare industry.
