Applications Engineer (3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing)

We are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer with experience in 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing) to support the development, validation, and implementation of innovative printing applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineering, R&D, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely delivery of application development milestones, evaluate new materials and processes, and provide technical documentation for customer and internal use.

• Deliver application development projects and milestones within defined timelines.
• Design, develop, and validate 3D printing applications for customer and internal engineering requirements.
• Create prototype integration reports for new materials, printing technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate the performance, feasibility, and scalability of additive manufacturing solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including application guides, process documentation, testing reports, and best practices.
• Collaborate with R&D, product development, and manufacturing teams to optimize printing workflows and application performance.
• Participate in OAMT (Operational Additive Manufacturing Team) meetings by providing technical updates, recommendations, and engineering insights.
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives for additive manufacturing technologies.
• Troubleshoot application issues and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency and quality.
• Support customer demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, and technical evaluations when required.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, materials, and technologies in additive manufacturing.
