Electrical Engineering Technician
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to support our growing engineering, equipment, and tooling programs. This role involves hands-on electrical fabrication, system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of custom aerospace tooling and automated control systems. Responsibilities- Build, wire, and integrate electrical control systems, wire harnesses, motor control circuits, control panels, and electro-mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings and schematics.
- Support the development, fabrication, and testing of custom aerospace tooling, automated equipment, and controls systems.
- Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and test procedures.
- Perform system-level troubleshooting, verification, and functional testing of electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to support prototype development, equipment modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with in-shop fabrication, commissioning, and validation of highly engineered custom equipment.
- Participate in on-site installation, startup, integration, and troubleshooting activities at customer facilities as required.
- Explore opportunities for expanded responsibilities in procurement, quality systems, supplier management, and manufacturing operations support.
- Ability to design layouts, wire, and fabricate UL 508A industrial control panels from engineering documentation with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of electrical controls, motor controls, sensors, relays, PLC I/O, and industrial automation components.
- Experience integrating control panels, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical devices into complex electro-mechanical equipment.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical, controls, and electro-mechanical systems using standard diagnostic tools and test equipment.
The work environment includes a collaborative atmosphere where technicians work closely with engineers and other team members. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Redmond, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Redmond,WA.
