Hotel Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance of hotel facilities, including mechanical systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, and structural elements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergency situations.
• Assist in the administration of maintenance inventory and procurement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Document all maintenance activities and generate reports on efficiency and repairs.
• Supervise junior engineering staff and provide on-the-job training.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure cohesion and guest satisfaction.

Required Skills

• Proficient in handling and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy management.
