Senior Medical Assistants/MA‑C – Orthopedic (Full‑Time)
Senior Medical Assistants/MA‑C are MAs with over two years of experience (minimum 6 months at a PSJH clinic). In addition to standard MA responsibilities—including administrative and clinical tasks—this role provides leadership, guides clinic operations, and mentors Associate Medical Assistants. After a year of service as a Senior Medical Assistant and attainment of the MA‑C designation, you become eligible for Lead MA promotion and additional leadership duties.

Our orthopedic clinics treat injuries such as arthritis pain, back pain, joint pain, and pain from strains and sprains that affect patients’ quality of life. Your role helps patients with musculoskeletal needs regain function and relieve chronic joint pain.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited medical assistant school or registered medical assistant apprenticeship program, or two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.
- Two years of medical‑assisting experience in a clinic setting.
- Two years of experience providing high‑level customer service in a fast‑paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- Six months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last three years.
- National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.

Pay range: $29.79 – $45.58 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
