Patient Scheduler - Diagnostic Imaging

Description

Responsible for independently coordinating and performing moderately complex and specialized clinic operational duties. The duties may include, but are not limited to, the department and patient scheduling and coordination of patient appointments with other services as required, obtaining patient information and insurance coverage; answering and triaging incoming phone calls. These incumbents may be required to function in the position assigned to carry out the essential functions below, act as a main resource to the organization for these functions, and perform specialized clinic administrative duties as assigned by clinic management or managing clinicians.

Required qualifications:

+ 3 years of front office experience in a clinic setting

Preferred qualifications:

+ Graduate of a secretarial program --or-
- + Associate's Degree

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
