General Summary
The Operations Associate contributes to the overall operation by assisting in a variety of roles throughout the club. The role requires providing a high level of member service, maintaining club cleanliness, and consistently demonstrating a positive and professional attitude. It offers opportunities to develop knowledge of operations and hospitality and supports career growth within the club environment.
Primary Job Functions- Greet members and guests upon arrival to the club.
- Check membership in by verifying membership status.
- Ensure guests complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay any applicable guest fees.
- Book appointments, program, and class reservations for members and guests.
- Provide information regarding club programming and facilities.
- Deliver an exceptional service experience to members, guests, and associates to retain guests for repeat business.
- Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and prompt follow‑through.
- Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information.
- Operate cash register, process payments, and balance the cash drawer each shift.
- Perform opening and/or closing duties as required.
- Answer and transfer phone calls.
- Create and serve food and beverage items and promote daily specials.
- Operate cash register for café, process payments, and maintain a clean work environment per state and local food safety standards.
- Maintain food handler and responsible beverage service certifications as required.
- Greet members at the pool area, serve food and beverages, assist with event support, and offer seating and tours of pool deck amenities.
- Assist with maintaining refreshment stations and providing towels as needed.
- Warmly greet each member in the parking garage, verify membership, audit parking as necessary, and perform opening and/or closing duties.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and stock levels throughout the club, including detailing cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Communicate timely and follow‑up as appropriate and participate in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings.
- Flexibility in work schedule; the job may require day and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- At least one year of experience in hospitality or a related service position.
- Food safety certification if applicable.
- Professional, friendly manner with excellent customer service attitude and abilities.
- Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
- Self‑motivated, takes initiative, anticipates the needs of others, and is willing to acquire new skills.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of company policies, written and oral comprehension and expression, and proficiency with club software and Microsoft Outlook.
Physical Requirements
Work typically requires standing for extended periods, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, and smelling. The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good close and distance vision with adjustment ability is required. Noise level is usually moderate.
Estimated Base Pay Range$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
