Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Marriott is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to help lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring clean, safe, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas. This role supports the Housekeeping Manager with team scheduling, training, and performance feedback while upholding Marriott's service and cleanliness standards. The Assistant Manager conducts room inspections, manages inventory and linen usage, responds to guest requests, and partners with other departments to support smooth hotel operations and an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Support daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms and public areas
• Supervise, coach, and motivate room attendants and house persons
• Conduct room and public-area inspections to ensure brand cleanliness standards
• Assist with staff scheduling, task assignments, and time management
• Monitor and manage linen, amenities, and cleaning supply inventories
• Respond promptly to guest requests, service recovery needs, and special setups
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation regulations
• Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance, and other departments on room status
• Help onboard, train, and cross-train new housekeeping associates
• Support reporting, recordkeeping, and cost-control initiatives
