Data Scientist

Overview

Our client, a leading organization in the gaming industry, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their dynamic team. As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the Player Data and Insights department supporting the Mojang Player Care team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid

Pay Range: $60.63 - $66.70 on Experis W2 (Benefits/ PTO/401k)

• Partner with the Player Care team and data engineering to transform Player Care data into actionable insights.
• Identify key learnings from data analysis and synthesize recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with fellow data scientists to incorporate support findings into broader analyses and franchise strategies.
• Conduct data analysis for stakeholder groups across marketing and consumer products, including ROI evaluations and metric optimization.
• Maintain dashboards in Power
  
  BI to enable stakeholders to understand business performance and support onboarding to self-service tools.

• 5 years of experience in data analytics.
• 5 years of experience with SQL, bonus if familiar with Spark
  
  SQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer.
• 5 years of experience with dashboarding tools, Power
  
  BI preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in data analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL, with familiarity in Spark
  
  SQL, Databricks, or Azure Data Explorer preferred.
• Strong skills in dashboarding tools, especially Power
  
  BI.
• Proficiency in Python, with bonus experience in PySpark.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
