Audio Project Manager III

Client is assembling a world-class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to shape the future of virtual and augmented reality (AR/VR). The client's Audio team is specifically focused on revolutionizing how people hear and connect in challenging acoustic environments.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our team on-site in Redmond, Washington. This full-time contract position involves leading scientific research projects from inception to completion, collaborating with experts in audio signal processing, machine learning, and hearing sciences. The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and a passion for advancing innovative technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Drive project planning, execution, and delivery for research and feature development.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects.
• Oversee procurement of equipment and vendor services.
• Support operational (non-research) projects and tasks as needed.
• Maintain an on-site presence 5 days per week at the Redmond facilities.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience in research or product development.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proactive initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective collaboration across functions, building strong partnerships with team members and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet priorities and deadlines.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• PMP or similar certification.

Pay Range: $73 - $78/hour on W2
