Job Summary:

Talent Software Services is in search of a Project Manager Non Tech for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be for six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary:

The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll‑out, among other non‑IT‑based projects.

• Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
• Process requests for background screening for various cloud environments. Manage trials for Office offerings. Assist with the personnel screening process. Manage multiple shared mailboxes, triage incoming requests, and provide timely responses to customers.

• At least 4 years of experience in the field.
• Previous experience with personnel security screening.
• PMP certification is preferred and will be prioritized.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Proficient knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
• Proficient knowledge of computer software, such as Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.
• At least 4 years of experience in the field.
• Previous experience with personnel security screening.
• PMP certification is preferred and will be prioritized.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with proficiency in all company suite tools, focused on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with strong customer service and people skills.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with business and project management and strategic planning.
