• In partnership with the specialized sales teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
• Hire, on‑board, train, and develop new Specialist Solutions Architects.
• Coach Specialist Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Step into a Specialist Solutions Architect role when required to support our customer base.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, blog posts, and other high‑value customer‑facing collateral.

• Enjoy developing technical talent to achieve great things, and have a passion for educating, training, and enabling Analytics solutions experts for a diverse and challenging set of customers.
• Have a strong understanding of emerging technology solutions, past experience working as a Solutions Architect or similar role, and managing a team of Solutions Architects.
• Understand the intersection of business and technology executives in selling and positioning analytics in the enterprise.

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer‑facing resources or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.

The base salary range for this position is $ – $ USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
