Sr. Manager Solution Architecture, Analytics Specialist Solutions Architects

We are seeking a Sr. Manager to lead a team of specialist solutions architects who design, implement, and evangelize advanced analytics solutions for our customers. The successful candidate will have deep analytics technical expertise, strong people‑management skills, and a proven track record of coaching architects and driving customer success on AWS.

In this role you will own the technical vision for analytics solutions, shape the skill set of your team, mentor and coach architects to deliver high‑impact presentations and solutions, and partner with sales, field, and enterprise teams to develop new capabilities that help customers deploy analytics workloads on AWS.

• In partnership with the specialized sales teams, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
• Hire, on‑board, train, and develop new Specialist Solutions Architects.
• Coach Specialist Solutions Architects in the skills needed to conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to customers who are considering or using AWS.
• Step into a Specialist Solutions Architect role when required to support our customer base.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, blog posts, and other high‑value customer‑facing collateral.

• Enjoy developing technical talent to achieve great things. You will have a passion for educating, training, and enabling Analytics solutions experts for a diverse and challenging set of customers.
• Have a strong understanding of emerging technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have past experience working as a Solutions Architect or similar role and managing a team of Solutions Architects.
• Understand the intersection of business and technology executives in selling and positioning analytics in the enterprise.

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
