AI Data Engineer

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking an AI Data Engineer to join their team. As an AI Data Engineer
, you will be part of the Data & Analytics Department supporting the Data Engineering and Data Science teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

AI Data Engineer

Remote – 100% remote. Open to candidates across all time zones with a preference for PST support. Strong preference for candidates based near Redmond, WA who can work onsite at the Bear Creek A building approximately 3 days/week; these candidates will be prioritized.

• Python 4-5 years
• Data modeling 3 years
• Cloud experience 2 years (Azure preferred)

• Build and maintain scalable, automated data pipelines handling logs and event streaming data on cloud platforms.
• Design and develop robust data models and abstractions to support analytics and machine learning initiatives.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Develop enterprise-grade APIs and data products to facilitate data access and usability across teams.
• Advance infrastructure by creating reusable frameworks and leveraging modern data engineering practices.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, with relevant experience.
• Proven experience in building and optimizing enterprise-scale data pipelines using tools like Spark and airflow.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, automation, and analysis.
• Experience developing secure, high-performance APIs, preferably on cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to data challenges.
