Red Cloud seeks a Lead AI/ML Engineer to support immediate client operations.

Overview

The Lead AI/ML Engineer will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders across our global tech client’s organization to design, build, and maintain robust AI and ML systems that enable data-informed decision making. This role spans the full data lifecycle, from pipeline architecture and ETL development to statistical modeling, dashboarding, and predictive analytics, directly contributing to CSRM performance, sustainability goals, and operational safety.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain broad oversight of a portfolio of active AI and ML projects, being a driving force for sustained execution from individual contributors.
  • Monitor and plan team capacity against client project demands.
  • Determine feasibility and high-level engineering architecture for new project solutions.
  • Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams to define KPIs, streamline reporting processes, and align strategic goals.
  • Provide technical advice and mentoring of team individual contributors.
  • Carry out engineering work on individual projects or with other individual contributors on an as‑needed basis. This may include:
  • Conduct statistical analyses and machine learning model development for CSRM performance metrics, including PCA and linear regression‑based forecasting
  • Build and manage data pipelines using SQL, Python, and ETL tools to ensure the integrity and scalability of data workflows.
  • Deploy machine learning models to a robust production environment
  • Perform bespoke agentic implementations, with a focus on tools such as Vertex AI, Spanner, and Big Query.
  • Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations in Looker, Tableau, and PLX to present actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end business intelligence solutions, enabling impactful decision‑making across global programs.
  • Develop intelligence reports for operational, quarterly, and monthly business reviews, highlighting key insights and driving program improvements.
  • Technical documentation of solutions
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • 7+ years in data engineering, analytics, or data science
  • Technical leadership: hands‑on experience leading a team to deliver a portfolio of projects
  • Ability to communicate results at an executive level
  • Experience with multi‑agent orchestration
  • Hands‑on experience using statistical methods for forecasting
  • Hands‑on experience with machine learning modeling
  • MLOps: hands‑on experience deploying machine learning or AI agent systems to robust production environments
  • Hands‑on with SQL, must be able to write complex queries, not just read them
  • Python for data work, ie. pandas, ETL scripting, automation
  • Built and maintained data pipelines end to end in a production environment
  • Worked in GCP cloud stack (including Vertex AI or Model Garden)
  • Created dashboards for business stakeholders, Looker, Tableau, or equivalent
  • Collaborated with non‑technical teams to define KPIs and present findings
  • Familiarity with Agile and sprint based delivery
  • Experience with data platform and visualization technologies such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, and Big Query
  • Strong design and development skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of database structure systems and data mining.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Tools used: SQL, Python, Big Query, GCP, ETL Pipelines, Looker, Tableau, Dashboarding, Multi‑agent AI, LLM Integration, ML Models

Compensation range for this position is $145,000 - $155,000/year DOE.

Red Cloud requires employees have the legal ability to work in the country hired during their employment period. During onboarding, proof of eligibility to work in the applicable country will be requested. Red Cloud does not provide visa sponsorship.
