Our client, the technology and gaming industry, is seeking a Data Scientist to join their team. As a Data Scientist, you will be part of the Minecraft data organization supporting cross-functional groups such as Product, Finance, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Redmond, WA - Hybrid

Pay Range: $71.74 - $74.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/401k/PTO)

What's the Job?
  • Apply advanced analytics, experimentation, and predictive modeling to optimize monetization strategies across Minecraft's revenue streams.
  • Build lifetime value (LTV) models and analyze cross-product spending behaviors.
  • Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests on pricing and user experience changes.
  • Surface actionable insights that drive revenue growth while maintaining a positive player experience.
  • Collaborate with senior management and technical teams to determine data requirements and best practices for data analysis.
What's Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL, particularly on Databricks platform.
  • Experience modeling user spending behavior in gaming or subscription services.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present insights to stakeholders.
