Summary

Meta is seeking an AI-focused operations program leader to act as the Single Threaded Leader (STL) for AI-native transformation across every phase of product and technical operations. As a senior AI OPM, you will own the end-to-end program management of AI initiatives — from early architecture and through pilot execution and scaled deployment. You will be the primary Operations interface for AI initiatives to product development, engineering, sourcing, and external supplier teams, ensuring cross-functional alignment, on-time delivery, and measurable operational impact.

Staying at the cutting edge of AI tools and innovations, you will serve as the operational backbone for AI transformation across our NPI Product Operations technical functions. You will establish the appropriate engagement models and define roles between internal cross-functional teams and external manufacturing partners to execute AI-driven development builds leading up to ramp and mass production. Beyond program delivery, you will instill a culture of operational rigor powered by AI — establishing cadences, tracking KPIs, managing dependencies, and ensuring AI initiatives move from concept to production with speed, quality, and ethical governance.

The successful candidate uses data to inform decisions and consistently informed on emerging AI capabilities, with a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs, influencing key design and architecture decisions, and translating AI strategy into executed, operationalized workflows across teams, functions, and external partners.

This senior position requires expertise in program managing and deploying AI tools across manufacturing and operational domains, including supply chain, quality, and product development. You must be able to challenge process choices at the executive level while driving execution rigor at the working level. This role requires hands‑on experience managing AI-driven transformation programs with an operational background in manufacturing, supply chain, or product development, including supplier technical operations and New Product Introduction (NPI).

You have a proven ability to pilot, scale, and operationalize AI solutions through disciplined program execution, integrating AI tools to optimize workflows and drive measurable impact.

  • Establish the appropriate engagement model and define roles and responsibilities between internal cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Quality) and external manufacturing partners

  • Use knowledge of AI/ML technologies and operational data to influence key design, architecture, and process decisions to meet Operations KPIs

  • Assess, analyze, consolidate, and communicate risk and status clearly and succinctly to management, presenting options for resolution to the cross‑functional executive team through new product reviews

  • Champion continuous improvement by demonstrating the ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

  • Partner with leaders to design end‑to‑end workflows that integrate AI agents and automated orchestration, managing the transition from NTI to NPI

  • Manage program health including backlogs, sprint adherence, risk mitigation, resource allocation, and escalation management across multiple functional teams

  • Produce clear program artifacts — charters, roadmaps, status reports, and decision documents — that present options, tradeoffs, and risks to facilitate executive decision‑making

  • Transition successful pilots into repeatable playbooks and hand over ongoing governance to PMO/Operations and functional owners

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Data‑driven problem solving skills to address multi‑dimensional problems with high levels of…
