Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will work with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet business and technical objectives. You will manage diverse stakeholder requests, drive operational excellence across multiple programs, and operate effectively in ambiguous environments by using technical judgment to question assumptions, validate requirements, and solve problems before they become roadblocks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage technical requirements for test, verification, and harness of complex systems.
- Decompose technical requirements for test into software and hardware requirements aligned with development, manufacturing, and verification test strategy.
- Identify and manage the conduct of trade studies and analyses necessary to define automated test station hardware and software requirements.
- Manage a large number of dependencies across many engineering disciplines to ensure development schedules are met.
- Develop program and team processes and tools as required.
This role is located in Redmond, WA and requires the candidate to be onsite with no location flexibility.
Export Control RequirementDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Basic Qualifications- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPIs/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
