We are seeking RF Test Operators to support execution of testing for next-generation satellite communication systems. This role is focused on running predefined tests, monitoring system behavior, and ensuring consistent, high-quality test execution across lab environments.
Swing Shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM)This role follows a swing shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. This shift supports extended test execution coverage and is subject to additional hours as needed, with overtime compensated.
Employment Authorization RequirementCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. All offers are contingent upon verification of employment eligibility in accordance with federal law.
Onsite Requirement (2-5 days)This role requires onsite presence in Redmond, WA and is expected to be onsite from 2-5 days per week depending on test equipment availability and lab access requirements. Due to the hands‑on nature of RF testing and hardware validation, candidates should be comfortable working consistently in a lab environment.
Key Responsibilities- Execute RF test procedures using predefined scripts and regression testing software (SRM regression)
- Set up and maintain test environments across development systems (dev pits, flat sat)
- Operate Linux‑based test environments to run scripts and collect results
- Monitor test execution and identify failures or unexpected behavior
- Review system logs to detect errors, inconsistencies, or performance issues
- Document test results accurately and follow established testing workflows
- Escalate issues to engineering teams for investigation
- Support continuous regression testing cycles to ensure stability across releases
- 1–2+ years of experience in testing, lab operations, or system validation
- Basic Linux / command line proficiency
- Experience running test scripts or automated workflows
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repeatable processes
- Ability to work independently in a high‑execution environment
- Exposure to RF, wireless, or telecom systems
- Familiarity with test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VNAs)
- Basic scripting experience (Python or Bash)
- Experience working in lab or hardware testing environments
- Consistent execution of high‑volume regression tests without errors
- Accurate identification and escalation of issues through log analysis
- Reliable test coverage to support system validation and release readiness
