An experienced Epic Clinical Applications Senior Consultant.
The Work- Experience with project plan creation, taking end‑user information to create a detailed scope and obtaining sign‑off, creating a detailed Excel plan, and driving status calls with regular updates.
- Executive presence: portray competence and confidence, and communicate concise escalations and status reporting.
- Comfort with ambiguity: handle new complexities, investigate procedures, and define standard solutions.
- Strong driver personality: lead status updates and understand intricacies of project requirements.
- Assist with the analysis and design of new business workflows.
- Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases, assigning resources based on skill and mastery.
- Provide input into high‑level functional specifications.
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure design and performance meet requirements.
- Perform or advise on system configuration, integration setup, and testing activities.
- Serve as intermediary between client Epic teams and Accenture tech leads, fostering understanding of data structures, workflows, and technology capabilities.
- Assist in development and documentation of data requests and source‑to‑target mapping.
- Other duties as assigned, including implementation, optimization, upgrades, and application support.
This role is located in Nashville, Atlanta, Columbus or Dallas and requires onsite presence three days per week.
Minimum Requirements- Minimum five years of experience in Healthcare IT as an Epic Clinical Applications Consultant.
- Experience and certification in at least one of Epic’s clinical apps (Epic Care Ambulatory, Clin Doc, Cupid, Orders, Radiant, etc.).
- Minimum two years of experience gathering requirements from clinical leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). If an associate degree, a minimum of six years of work experience is required.
- Experience in a full implementation of Epic.
- Program or project management experience.
- Reporting accountability for projects/programs to executive leadership.
- Leading multiple teams through separate project iterations.
- People management experience and adherence to business standards.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, including location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Compensation ranges for 2026 are as follows:
- California: $73,800 to $218,800
- Cleveland: $68,300 to $175,000
- Colorado: $73,800 to $189,000
- District of Columbia: $78,500 to $201,300
- Illinois: $68,300 to $189,000
- Maine: $62,800 to $161,000
- Maryland: $73,800 to $189,000
- Massachusetts: $73,800 to $201,300
- Minnesota: $73,800 to $189,000
- New York: $68,300 to $218,800
- New Jersey: $78,500 to $218,800
- Virginia: $68,300 to $201,300
- Washington: $80,200 to $201,300
