Overview
Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Key Job Responsibilities- Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Assemble and test LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, and other complex aerospace builds with emphasis on detail.
- Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
- Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
- Execute test procedures for component and system‑level testing maintenance.
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
- Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Manage multiple priorities and work in different areas throughout the shift.
- Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
Additional RequirementsWilling to work 4/10s as assigned. Shift will be communicated during the interview based on current need.
- Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Flexible working/commuting between site locations Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WA.
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.
- Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments.
- Experience running thermal and vacuum testing equipment.
The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.50 per hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
