Space Simulation Technician , Leo

Overview

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. • Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, and other complex aerospace builds with emphasis on detail.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system‑level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Manage multiple priorities and work in different areas throughout the shift.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Willing to work 4/10s as assigned. Shift will be communicated during the interview based on current need.

• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Flexible working/commuting between site locations Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WA.
• Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

• Experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments.

• Experience running thermal and vacuum testing equipment.

The starting pay for this role in Washington State is up to $33.50 per hour and employees are eligible for incremental raises based on tenure.
