We are seeking a Network Engineer for a hands-on role focused on deployment, migration, troubleshooting, and operational support. This position involves managing enterprise on-premises data center network infrastructure and supporting the core network for the lab community. The role is designed to augment team capacity by independently executing operational networking tasks, enabling full-time employees to concentrate on strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support network operations across enterprise data center and lab networking environments.
• Execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests and other operational work items.
• Perform network maintenance, upgrades, and infrastructure support activities.
• Contribute to service reliability while increasing team capacity for strategic initiatives and new service onboarding.
• Cover deployment, migration, DLM, troubleshooting, change execution, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering is required. Candidates must have experience supporting large-scale enterprise or data center network environments.

Technical Skills

• Supporting on-premises network infrastructure and lab networking environments.
• Handling Network Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests.
• Network operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Managing infrastructure upgrades and operational support activities.
• Working with standardized network deployment and operational processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with lab network infrastructure and network operations.
• Proven ability to independently execute network move, add, and change (MAC) requests.
• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise networking environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex network environments.
• Ability to ramp up quickly and collaborate effectively with engineering teams in a remote environment.
