SAP BI​/BW Developer

JOB Description:

General BI

Required Skills:

• Proven expertise in BW architecture design and data modeling
• Proven expertise in SAP Business Objects Architecture, IDT and reporting tools such as WebI, Crystal and Lumira dashboard applications.
• Proven experience with design and architecture of Enterprise Data Warehouse environments
• Proven experience with formulating governance standards and guidelines around design and development of solutions
• Good understanding and experience in modules such as and not limited to SAP SD, FI, PP, PM, GL, COPA
• Proven expertise in providing Technical Solutions to fulfill Business requests using SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA, SAP HANA and SAP Business Objects
• Multiple lifecycle implementation experience in SAP BW, HANA and Business Objects
• Deep and broad exposure and understanding of SAP Data Warehouse concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer facing experience
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and provide guidance to team members
• Experience or good understanding of implementing projects in Agile / Scrum / Dev Ops methodologies
• Ability to analyze and resolve simple and complicated issues related to BI

Required BW

Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience with SAP BW
• Strong ABAP skills in writing data transformation routines in BW transformation, BW query customer exit variables and BW extractors enhancements
• Proven experience with data modelling at a conceptual and physical level using BW Info Providers
• Experience with data extractions in BW.
• Experience in creating BW Info Providers such as cubes, DSOs, Info Objects and Multiproviders
• Experience in creating simple and complex BW Queries and variables using BW Query designer
• Experience in performance tuning of BW Info Providers and Queries
• Experience in performance tuning of data loads in BW from ECC and other sources
• Experience in enhancing BW extractors and Info Providers and SAP Business content
• Experience in creating reports and dashboards using BO applications such as WebI, Lumira and Crystal Reports
• Experience in resolving data and performance issues related to BO applications.
• Knowledge and understanding of BW4
  
  HANA and HANA modeling concepts
• Knowledge and understanding of BW4
  
  HANA modeling objects such as aDSOs, Composite Providers and Open ODS views.
• Knowledge in SAP roadmap for BW applications and architecture
• Experience in providing BW production support and resolving simple and complex issues
• Experience in working with various ECC modules extractors such FI, LO and generic data sources and enhancing these extractors
• Experience in using various SAP system tools to troubleshoot and performance tune BW objects
• Experience in handling BW Transport and change management and resolving issues with BW transports
• Understanding of BW LSA and LSA++
• Experience in analyzing and debugging BW ABAP transformation routines.
• Experience in working with 3.x and 7.x dataflows in BW and migrating 3.x flows to 7.x
• Experience in working with APDs and open hubs in BW
• Experience in creating and enhancing standard extractors and generic extractors
• Experience in integrating third party application data into BW.
• Experience in integrating multiple data sets in BW
• Experience in working with BW process chains and resolving issues of process chain failures.
• Experience in creating technical document and understanding of functional document.
