Job Summary

Drive a light-duty vehicle to collect and deliver mail, materials, packages and small pieces of equipment to schools and other district buildings on regularly scheduled routes in order to facilitate district communication and support the educational program of the district.

261 day working calendar.

Hours per day: 7.0.

Shift: First shift; subject to change.

• Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook software programs desired.

Maintains a valid Washington State Driver’s License.

The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling; some stooping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity. Must be able to load/unload, carry and maneuver heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Generally the job requires 25% sitting, 60% walking and 15% standing. The job is performed under some temperature extremes in a generally hazard‑free environment, and in varying atmospheric conditions.
