Your role

Reporting to the VP of Supply Chain & Operations, the Director, Global Supply Chain leads Probi's U.S.

-based supply chain activities. This individual serves as the organization's primary source of supply chain expertise and provides strategic leadership and oversight for the company's global supply chain operations.

The Director is accountable for the development, execution, and continuous improvement of supply chain strategies that support business objectives, including demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing operations. The role has responsibility for both Probi's internal manufacturing operations and its network of external contract manufacturing partners, ensuring operational excellence, supply continuity, cost optimization, quality compliance, and scalability to support future growth.

  • Serve as the management representative responsible for the strategic and tactical leadership of Probi's global supply chain operations.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's strategic plan, ensuring integration with stakeholder requirements and cross‑functional business objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team on supply chain performance, ensuring accurate and timely communication of key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives.
  • Establish annual supply chain goals, objectives, and performance targets that support Probi's business strategy, growth initiatives, and investment plans.
  • Continuously evaluate supply chain systems, processes, and organizational capabilities, recommending and implementing enhancements that improve efficiency, scalability, service levels, and overall business performance.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high‑performing global supply chain organization. Recruit, retain, and mentor top talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure supply chain readiness and successful execution of business plans, product launches, capacity expansions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead supplier and contract negotiations to secure optimal commercial terms, service levels, and cost structures while mitigating supply and business risks.
  • Leverage data analytics, performance metrics, and forecasting tools to evaluate historical performance, identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and support demand and distribution planning.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, logistics providers, contract manufacturers, and other third‑party partners to ensure reliable supply, quality performance, innovation, and long‑term business success.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, planning, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics functions to enhance customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies across all supply chain activities and external manufacturing operations.
About you Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related discipline required.
Professional Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or related functions within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, nutraceutical, food ingredient, or food manufacturing industries.
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of leadership experience in senior supply chain management roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex global supply chains, including internal manufacturing operations and external contract manufacturing networks.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain systems, planning tools, ERP platforms, data analytics, and performance management methodologies (Business Central and strong Excel).
