We Are:
Accenture is a leading solutions and services company that helps the world’s leading enterprises reinvent by building their digital core and unleashing the power of AI to create value at speed across the enterprise.
You Are:A healthcare supply chain practitioner who turns operational complexity into measurable results. You bring deep expertise in inventory and procurement transformation, and you understand how the supply chain actually runs inside a health system – from the point of use back through distribution, sourcing, and the ERP that ties it together. Your superpower is pairing functional command of supply chain processes with the consulting skills to lead change: you can sit with a Chief Supply Chain Officer to shape strategy in the morning and roll up your sleeves with an analyst on item master cleanup in the afternoon.
You are equally comfortable leading client‑facing work streams and developing the people on your team, and you have the communication skills to bring stakeholders along through meaningful operational change.
- Lead inventory and procurement transformation work streams for health system clients, translating operational pain points into actionable, ROI‑driven solutions.
- Design and improve core supply chain processes – demand planning, inventory optimization, sourcing and procurement, item master and data governance – across the perpetual and non‑stock environments.
- Partner with client stakeholders, from frontline supply chain leaders to C‑suite sponsors, to define the future‑state operating model and build the case for change.
- Lead and develop project teams, managing delivery quality, timelines, and client relationships across one or more concurrent engagements.
- Support sales and business development through proposals, solutioning, and client orals that differentiate Accenture in the healthcare supply chain market.
- Bring leading practices and emerging technology – including AI‑enabled supply chain capabilities – to bear on client problems where they create near‑term, practical value.
Travel will be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
What You Need:- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain, with a focus on inventory management and/or procurement transformation.
- A minimum of three (3) years of consulting or client delivery experience at a professional services firm.
- Experience delivering for healthcare provider or health system clients (e.g., hospitals, IDNs, academic medical centers).
- Demonstrated ability to lead work streams and teams while managing client relationships and delivery outcomes.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years of work experience).
- Hands‑on experience implementing a healthcare ERP or supply chain platform (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM, Workday, Infor).
- Relevant certification (e.g., FACHE, CMRP, Lean/Six Sigma, PMP).
- Experience applying AI or advanced analytics to supply chain or procurement use cases.
- Prior experience in a supply chain leadership or operations role within a health system.
Accenture offers a market competitive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and long‑term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan, bonus opportunities, paid holidays, and paid time off.
