Overview

Microsoft's Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP's vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities  mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide.

We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, One Drive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries.

Cloud Manufacturing Operations and Fulfillment (CMOF) organization within CSCP manages business operations performance and supplies hardware to the datacenters. Well-defined and executed supply chain management ensures reliable, on-time performance and optimized cost, prevents urgent and unplanned investments, and provides accurate and timely information across the supply base and internally across the infrastructure organization. Responsibilities

* Own fulfillment execution and delivery commitments by managing order fulfillment performance, inventory availability, and third-party fulfillment partner operations to meet customer and business objectives.

* Partner with internal customers, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand demand requirements, communicate risks and opportunities, and drive actions that improve customer outcomes and business continuity.

* Lead supply constraint management through allocation strategies, material prioritization, and escalation management to minimize business impact and improve supply chain resiliency.

* Drive supplier performance and material readiness through forecast alignment, replenishment strategies, capacity planning, and ongoing operational reviews with key suppliers and sourcing partners.

* Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify root causes of performance gaps, generate actionable insights, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery, quality, predictability, and cycle time performance.

* Collaborate across Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Trade, Finance, Capacity Planning, Datacenter Operations, and strategic suppliers to enable successful execution of supply chain objectives.

* Support business transformation initiatives by leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve supply chain agility, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, material requirement planning systems and tools or related experience

* OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, Sales & Operations Planning, material requirement planning systems and tools or…
