Inventory Planner - Inventory Planner I

Compensation: $22 - $29 HOURLY
Role OverviewWe are seeking an Inventory Planner for a 2nd shift role, working Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM. This position requires strong execution of data and processes. The successful candidate will operate from a company-wide perspective, assisting in data accuracy to ensure all tools and processes function as expected.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in maintaining data accuracy so all tools and processes function as expected.
- Manage inbound shipments, including PO tracking and maintenance, fill rates, operational issues, and vendor communications.
- Analyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory needs.
- Execute tasks using a variety of purchase order, in-stock, and vendor-related systems and reports.
- Physically move and expedite materials when required to support production and meet work order completion schedules.
- Verify all materials are packaged, bagged, and tagged for handoff to the production floor.
- Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually complete warehouse tasks and movement of parts.
- Document system issues, process flaws, and inefficiencies.
- Communicate with quality control, purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems.
- Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and hand carts.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
2+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer. - Technical
Skills:
Experience with MS Office Professional Suite, including Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation.
- 2+ years in supply chain, operations, warehousing, inventory control, or related experience.
- 2+ years of experience using MS Excel, with the ability to navigate and interpret data.
- Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
