Manager, Market Insights; HYBRID

Position: Manager, Market Insights (HYBRID)
Manager, Market Insights, you will lead market modeling, secondary research and quantitative insights for the Medical Division. You will provide functional expertise in market sizing, market research, and competitive insights to deliver reliable market models as needed to inform ongoing business decisions, as part of an assessment of a new business or market opportunity, and in support of Stryker’s annual strategic planning process.

You will directly manage, develop and coach a team of analysts, developing and growing functional expertise and talent in Market Insights.  Further, you will partner closely with BU Market Insight professional(s) and Marketing teams to drive collaborative market research, complete critical business tasks, and develop a bench of future Market Insights talent.

Works with business partners to synthesize the organization’scurrent accumulated knowledge set and identifies gaps that needtobe filled in orderto improve decision making

Coaches team in appropriate investigative or analytical methods to conduct reliable market research.

** Ability to influence throughout a matrixed organization8+ years of work experience required5+ years market research or upstream marketing experience required2+ years of people management experience preferred2+ years demonstrated experience in market and financial modeling required

Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills

Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority

Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
