Operations Manager

A highly respected Pacific Northwest general contractor is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee key commercial construction operations in the Redmond market.

This organization has established itself as a trusted partner to major technology clients and commercial developers, delivering complex ground-up and interior projects across corporate office, advanced technology, life science, and high-end commercial sectors.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving operational performance, leading project teams, and supporting continued regional growth within one of the most active construction markets in the United States.

The Operations Manager will provide leadership across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring successful execution, strong financial performance, and exceptional client satisfaction.

This individual will oversee Project Executives, Project Managers, and field leadership while working closely with senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.

• Provide operational oversight across multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Lead and mentor Project Executives, Project Managers, and field teams to ensure consistent performance and development
• Maintain accountability for project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and margin protection
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Support preconstruction and business development efforts, including client meetings, pursuit strategy, and project planning
• Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring proper staffing and operational efficiency
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring repeat business and continued partnership
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, efficiency, and team performance
• Projects typically range from $10M to $150M+ and include:
  • Corporate office and workplace environments for major technology clients
  • Mission‑critical and advanced technology facilities
  • Life science and laboratory environments
  • High‑end tenant improvement and repositioning projects
  • Ground‑up commercial and mixed‑use developments

• 12–20+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor
• Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple project teams or large‑scale projects
• Experience in roles such as Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Manager
• Strong financial and operational management experience
• Demonstrated success delivering commercial construction projects in the $20M to $150M+ range
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working within the Pacific Northwest market is highly preferred
