SummaryWe are seeking a Project Manager for an on-site role to help us advance an ambitious research program to develop technologies that will augment human capabilities and enable effortless communication in acoustically challenging environments (learn more about our work here). This is a full-time contract position that requires a highly motivated individual who can work collaboratively as well as independently. As a Project Manager, you will lead scientific research projects from conception to completion, collaborating with experts in audio signal processing, machine learning, and hearing sciences.
An ideal candidate would have familiarity with some or all of these areas.
- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery for research and feature development.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects.
- Oversee procurement of equipment and vendor services.
- Support operational (non-research) projects and tasks as needed.
- 3 years of project management experience in research or product development.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates proactive initiative and excels at managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effectively collaborates across functions, building strong partnerships with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring priorities are met and deadlines consistently achieved.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- PMP or similar certification.
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is $70.00 - $75.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
