Position: Project Manager I

About The Role

The Project Manager I plays a critical role in overseeing and coordinating projects from initiation through completion to ensure they meet scope, time, and budget requirements. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, develop detailed plans, and monitor progress against milestones. The Project Manager I is responsible for identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain project health.

Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels is essential to provide updates, manage expectations, and facilitate decision-making. Ultimately, this role ensures that projects deliver value to the organization while adhering to quality standards and organizational policies.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Jira.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams within a corporate environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings to ensure alignment and address any issues or roadblocks.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and elevate when appropriate.
  • Assist in the identification and management of project risks and dependencies.
  • Ensure documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately for project transparency and audit purposes.
  • Support the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools.
