Job Description Project Overview
Reality Labs Research (RLR) brings together a world‑class team of researchers, developers, and engineers to create the future of virtual and augmented reality, which together will become as universal and essential as smartphones and personal computers today. We are developing breakthrough AR and VR technologies, including optics and displays, computer vision, audio, graphics, brain‑computer interfaces, haptic interaction, eye/hand/face/body tracking, perception science, and true telepresence.
The RLR Audio team focuses on redefining how people hear and connect.
We are seeking a Project Manager for an on‑site role to help us advance an ambitious research program that augments human capabilities and enables effortless communication in acoustically challenging environments.
Responsibilities- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery for research and feature development.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project status, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of progress and completion of tasks and projects.
- Oversee procurement of equipment and vendor services.
- Support operational (non‑research) projects and tasks as needed.
This role requires an onsite presence 5 days per week at the Redmond facilities.
Minimum Qualifications- 3+ years of project management experience in research or product development.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates proactive initiative and excels at managing multiple tasks concurrently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effectively collaborates across functions, building strong partnerships with team members and stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Possesses exceptional organizational and time‑management skills, ensuring priorities are met and deadlines consistently achieved.

- PMP or similar certification.
