CNC Machinist Level II (2nd Shift)We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:30 am. This is a full-time onsite position in Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities- Programs and sets up EDM, CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
- Operates machines and monitors operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments.
- Runs production of component parts, perform specification checks, and makes machine offset adjustments as needed.
- Adjusts machine settings to the desired product specifications and troubleshoots and maintains the machines.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting of the machines and program functions, edit and document program changes.
- Tests accuracy of settings and programs.
- Inspects parts using precision measuring tools.
- Performs daily machine maintenance including maintaining coolant and oil levels.
- Checks and changes fluid filters as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Swiss or Lathe) or equivalent.
- Programming skills with an understanding of G and M-Codes.
- Complete knowledge and application of measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of trigonometry functions and strong overall math skills.
- Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints.
- Basic PC skills and Windows navigation, the ability to send and receive emails, and log on to company websites without assistance.
- Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.
Salary range for this position is $30-$45/hour which is the general base range for a successful candidate in the State of Washington. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
