Deburr Technician

Schedule:

1st Shift, M-Th, 3:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Onsite in Redmond, WA

• Assist machinists:
  Light machine operations (push buttons, monitor, etc.) and train on basic machine operations of CNC Lathe and Swiss Screw machines.
• Deburring:
  Utilize various hand tools and small power tools to remove burs, sharp edges or excess material from machined parts.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  Keep work area clean and organized, perform routine maintenance tasks on machines and tools. Sweep floor, mop oil leaks. Drain coolant and empty chip barrels.
• Perform accurate and timely completion of job order documentation, part counts, tie-in information, etc.
• Use Lean/Continuous improvement processes that positively impact operations by reducing waste, safety risks and improving quality.
• Safety Compliance:
  Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Experience with deburring highly desired. Willingness to train.
• Basic knowledge of inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to perform mid-level math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions).
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, drawings, internal and customer specifications, manuals and safety regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and ability to meet production deadlines.
• Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.

Salary range for this position is $19-$24/hour which is the general base range for a successful candidate in the State of Washington. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience.
