Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Compensation: $30 - $38 hourly DOE / Full Benefits

Full Time / On-site

Quala is seeking a CNC machinist to join our team that is supporting the prototyping of next generation consumer electronic devices. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art prototyping lab that is based in Redmond, WA. As a member of our CNC team, you will be working side by side with a multidisciplinary team of engineers who specialize in the iterative prototyping of hardware for consumer electronics.

• Material preparation
• Machine set up and tear down
• Run Programs at CNC machines
• Manual machining as needed
• Support raw material inventory and organization
• Operate and help maintain sawing equipment
• Support all model makers and fabricators as needed

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of professional or academic experience setting up and operating CNC machines.
• Works well in a team environment.
• High attention to detail
• Basic machine shop experience
• Experience operating basic shop tools and equipment (saws, manual mills, measuring tools etc.)
• Ability to learn newer technology such as waterjet
• Academic or professional experience with CAM software
• Model Maker/Prototyping experience a plus

Hourly rate range $30 - $38 hourly DOE

• $1 for $1 matching 401(k) with NO vesting period!
