Job Description
The Wrapping Helper responsible for preparing, wrapping, and packaging products for shipment or storage. This role ensures that all items are securely and attractively packaged according to company standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Product Preparation:
Inspect products for quality and prepare them for wrapping and packaging. - Wrapping and Packaging:
Utilize various materials and methods to securely wrap and package products, including bubble wrap, foam, packing peanuts, and other protective materials. - Labeling:
Accurately label packages with the correct information, including shipping addresses, contents, and special handling instructions. - Safety and Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in using packaging tools and materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for labeling and inventory management.
- Forklift experience (will train if necessary).
- Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
