2nd Shift: M–Th, 2:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Micro Surgical Technology creates surgical devices to restore or improve vision for patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Program and set up EDM, CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications.
- Operate machines and monitor operation and control panel displays to detect malfunctions and adjust accordingly.
- Run production of component parts, perform specification checks, and make machine offset adjustments as needed.
- Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications and troubleshoot and maintain the machines.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of the machines and program functions, edit and document program changes.
- Test accuracy of settings and programs.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
- Perform daily machine maintenance including maintaining coolant and oil levels.
- Check and change fluid filters as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Swiss or Lathe) or equivalent.
- Programming skills with an understanding of G and M-Codes.
- Complete knowledge and application of measurement equipment.
- Strong understanding of trigonometry functions and overall math skills.
- Must be able to read and understand complex blueprints.
- Basic PC skills and Windows navigation, ability to send and receive emails, and log on to company websites without assistance.
- Ability to work and communicate within a team environment.
Pay range: $30–45/hour. The actual pay will be based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
