Production Supervisor – Redmond, WA

Schedule:

40 hours per week, Monday‑Thursday 5:00am‑3:30pm (potential overtime). Salary: $79,000 – $85,000 annually.

• Review production orders, determine quantities and specifications, and schedule team member hours and materials.
• Plan production operations, establish priorities and sequences, and optimize machine, plant, and human‑resource utilization.
• Review production reports, resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to reduce costs and improve productivity and quality.
• Inspect machines to ensure optimal utilization and set up or verify machine settings as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and change notices; communicate assignments and conduct inspections of work.
• Develop and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality.
• Coordinate production requirements with material handling and support just‑in‑time practices.
• Train new team members, including work‑team leaders, and maintain records of day‑to‑day activity such as time, materials, and process steps.
• Initiate communications on employee‑relations matters (promotions, transfers, attendance, discipline, etc.) and resolve team‑member grievances.
• Conduct performance reviews for team leaders and members and oversee material inspections.
• Enter and retrieve production information on computerized data‑entry screens or custom forms.
• Perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objectives of the position.

• At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of assembly and sub‑assembly processes in the assignment area.
• Working knowledge of production planning, inventory control, and production methods.
• Experience with automated production machinery, hand tools, power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools.
• Strong human‑relations skills for one‑on‑one training, conflict resolution, and group harmony.
• Problem‑solving skills for labor and material shortages, plant safety, and equipment issues.
• Experience reviewing employee performance.
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel).
• Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop, bend, and crawl continuously; lift, pull, push, and guide medium‑weight objects (20‑40lb) occasionally.
