As a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead a team to optimize manufacturing processes, drive innovation, and achieve operational excellence. Your role will enhance productivity, improve product quality, and drive customer satisfaction. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Redmond, WA location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days after beginning on-site.
In this role, you will have impact on our new product development and manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies.
- 3–5 years of experience in advanced manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
- 3–5 years of experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in advanced manufacturing and new product introduction.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Expertise in implementing advanced manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Ability to think strategically and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Project management skills.
