HIRING MATERIAL HANDLERS! Job Description

This role involves performing both physical and administrative tasks related to the receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and supplies. Maintaining accurate records of materials and inventory is also a key responsibility. A strong attention to detail and the stamina to perform repetitive tasks are essential. Additionally, a commitment to safety and quality, including speaking up about issues, and the ability to learn new processes, systems, and equipment are crucial.

• Receive, store, and distribute materials, parts, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and inventory.
• Ensure attention to detail and perform repetitive tasks with stamina.
• Speak up and address issues related to safety and quality.
• Learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and equipment.

• Experience in material handling and warehouse operations.
• Proficiency in computer operations.
• Prior experience in manufacturing operations.

• Ability to meet work schedules and fulfill overtime requirements, including weekends.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding procedures, safety sheets, instructions, and policies in English.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to adhere to safety-related guidelines, including good housekeeping and ergonomic practices.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing.

The role requires exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Candidates should be able to work with and sort small component parts, have good visual perception, and demonstrate fine motor skills. The position demands physical work and the ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions. Accurate documentation and the ability to identify and correct minor inconsistencies are also required.

Teamwork is essential, with an emphasis on collaboration, conflict resolution, and working in a diverse setting.

Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

The pay range for this position is $22.80 - $22.80/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Redmond, WA.
