Description
The Intake Registered Nurse (RN) supports the preadmission process in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role collects, organizes and analyzes data to ensure surgical clearance. Additionally, the Intake RN makes phone calls to patients to provide preadmission information as well as answer any questions.
ResponsibilitiesThe Intake RN coordinates with surgical teams, reviews patient records, and ensures all necessary preoperative tests and clearance are obtained. The RN communicates with patients via phone to discuss preadmission procedures, answer questions, and address concerns.
Required Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
